Christy Catalytics will be exhibiting at the Maintenance & Resilience TOKYO Conference in Tokyo, Japan from July 19-21, 2017 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center. [Booth #2D-35.]

Christy will be exhibiting in the booth of our exclusive Japanese agent, Yugengaisha Morikanagata Seisakusho Limited along with two other prinicipal companies- Magnetische Prufanlagen Gmbh and Manoir Industries that Yugengaisha Morikanagata Seisakusho Limited represents.

Christy will feature all of its product offerings of interest to Japan’s processing industries. Our key products include both alumina and ceramic catalyst bed supports for fixed bed catalytic reactors, Christy® Fill ceramic heat storage media for regenerative thermal oxidizers and regenerative burners as well as Christy® Pak tower packing and internals for packed tower equipment like scrubbers, absorbers and distillation columns. Our tower packing and internals are available in a wide range of configurations, sizes and materials of construction.

Christy Catalytics Hires 2017 Summer Interns

Christy Catalytics recently participated in the University of Houston’s Program for Excellence in Selling (PES) Career Fair where we successfully recruited our 2017 summer interns, Andrea Acosta-Rivera and Yele Soyombo. Andrea, Christy’s Sales and Marketing Intern, is majoring in Marketing and is actively involved in the Program for Excellence in Selling where she is receiving 180 hours of live sales training. Yele, our Engineering Support Intern, has a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and is currently studying for his Master’s in Petroleum Engineering. We are excited to have both onboard as part of our team this summer.420.jpeg

Christy Catalytics to Present at the 2017 SynGas Technologies Conference

Christy Catalytics’ Manager of Technical Services, Katie Beane, will be giving her presentation titled “Catalyst Support Media for Gasification and Syngas Technologies” at the 2017 SynGas Technologies Conference at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado, October 15-18, 2017. Her presentation will discuss in detail the different grades and types of inert catalyst support media. It will also cover how to select the proper media, and what options are available to achieve objectives such as pressure drop reduction, minimization of corrosion and erosion of the inert material, and maximum hold down stability.

Christy Catalytics’ President Celebrates His 25th Anniversary

We are proud to announce Christy Catalytics’ President, Brian Osborne, celebrated his 25th Anniversary with the company this month. Mr. Osborne began his career with Christy Refractories immediately following graduation from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1991 with an M.S. in Ceramic Engineering.  He began with Christy as a Research and Development Engineer and has served in his current role since 2004.  He also serves as CEO of Christy Industrial Holdings, LLC. Congratulations Brian!
