Posted on Mon, Feb 09, 2015

Christy Catalytics, LLC is pleased to announce that it has acquired the assets of Petro Ware, Inc. located in Crooksville, Ohio.  Petro Ware, founded by James Swingle in 1984, built its business based upon a manufacturing facility previously used by both Koch and MA Knight dating back to 1942.  Petro Ware expanded the site with a new manufacturing plant in the mid 1990’s that forms the core of the manufacturing operation today.

Christy Catalytics President Brian Osborne states, “The addition of Petro Ware’s manufacturing capacity to our existing facilities in the U.S. and China further expands our long history of manufacturing      PROX-SVERS® ceramic balls and random packing materials for fixed bed vessels.  Our global customers now have the option to purchase Christy’s ceramic products from any of our convenient global manufacturing plants or warehouses.”

The process of upgrading the manufacturing facility and integrating Petro Ware’s products into the existing product lines of Christy Catalytics will be complete by the end of 2015.
